“Bill Coberly is a writer and troublemaker,” was the usual byline. It was probably more aspirational than accurate.
Currently, I’m a lawyer in Minneapolis, where I live with my wife Erin, and two small and snuggly terriers named Azathoth and Nyarlathotep (because Erin is very patient).
Sometimes, I write about videogames. (I used to do that more often). I founded The Ontological Geek, and have contributed to Kotaku, Zam, Unwinnable, Five Out of Ten, Gamechurch, Nightmare Mode, Ctrl+Alt+Defeat, and a few other places, here and there.
I also write fiction, from time to time, so far published entirely at Unwinnable.
This place is where I write stuff that is either too short, too weird, or too thinkpiecy to warrant publication anywhere else. I have no particular publication schedule, and the content is just “stuff Bill wants to say.” This is where you go on the off-chance you want my opinion.
